I'm a software developer based in Berlin (formerly Bochum), Germany. I currently work as a Systems Engineer for devbliss GmbH (a spin-off from VZ Netzwerke). I'm interested in all kinds of topics related to software engieering, particulary large, scalable web applications, cryptography, development processes, and systems architecture. You can read my full CV at StackOverflow Careers, though I'm not currently looking for a job.
Here are some software projects you may find interesting:
PCR - a growing cryptography toolkit written in pure Python. The idea behind PCR was to make cryptography transparent and easy to audit. Even though the implementations of the various algorithms in PCR are quite slow compared to their optimized C counterparts, this project offers everyone interested in cryptography a chance to dive into the code and explore what's happening much more easily.
VictoryChat - slightly dated now, VictoryChat is a web chat platform I worked on. If you want your own chat, don't hesitate to install it and try it out. All the most important features are there.
NIL - a functional programming language that is modeled on languages such as Lisp and Python. It's implemented as a virtual machine with a bytecode-compiler. NIL is one of the prototypes for the programming language I'm developing (on and off) on weekends.
